Estimate Your Streaming Income

For aspiring or current Twitch streamers, this calculator estimates potential monthly income from channel subscriptions. Enter the number of subscribers you have at each tier, and the tool will calculate your estimated take-home pay after the standard Twitch revenue share.

The Formula Explained

  1. Gross Revenue: The calculator first determines the total gross revenue from each tier:
    • Tier 1 Revenue = Number of Tier 1 Subs * $4.99
    • Tier 2 Revenue = Number of Tier 2 Subs * $9.99
    • Tier 3 Revenue = Number of Tier 3 Subs * $24.99
  2. Net Revenue: It then applies the standard revenue split. For most streamers, Twitch takes a 50% cut.
    • Net Revenue = (Total Gross Revenue) * 0.50

How to Use the Calculator

  • Enter Subscriber Counts: Input the number of subscribers you have for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.
  • Calculate: The tool will display your estimated monthly revenue from subscriptions.

Real-World Example

A streamer has:

  • 150 Tier 1 Subs
  • 10 Tier 2 Subs
  • 2 Tier 3 Subs

Calculation:

  • Gross T1: 150 * $4.99 = $748.50
  • Gross T2: 10 * $9.99 = $99.90
  • Gross T3: 2 * $24.99 = $49.98
  • Total Gross Revenue: $898.38
  • Estimated Net Revenue (after 50% cut): $898.38 * 0.50$449.19

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Is the revenue split always 50/50? For most streamers (Affiliates and most Partners), yes. Top-tier Twitch Partners can sometimes negotiate a more favorable 70/30 split.
  • Does this include other income sources? No. This calculator only estimates revenue from monthly subscriptions. It does not include revenue from Bits, ads, or direct donations.
  • What about Prime Gaming subs? A Prime Gaming subscription is treated the same as a Tier 1 subscription in terms of revenue for the streamer. You should include your Prime sub count in your Tier 1 total.
